Dinh Bac: "U22 Vietnam is not afraid of any opponent at SEA Games"

(Dan Tri) - After scoring a double to help U22 Vietnam defeat U22 Laos 2-1 in the opening match of SEA Games 33, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac affirmed that he and his teammates are not afraid to face any opponent.

"The first match is always very difficult. U22 Laos played well. Their squad has many players who have been promoted to the national team, who played in the match against the Vietnamese team a few days ago.

I think the important thing is that U22 Vietnam wins. That is the motivation for us to try harder in the next match," Nguyen Dinh Bac shared his feelings after helping U22 Vietnam win a hard-fought 2-1 victory against U22 Laos on the afternoon of December 3.

Dinh Bac deserved to be the hero of U22 Vietnam when he scored a double in the match. However, the striker born in 2004 modestly said that he still has to try harder to improve his finishing.

“This is a match where U22 Vietnam completely dominated the game against U22 Laos, but the players missed many opportunities. Regarding finishing, we will try to improve in the coming days. I believe that in the match against U22 Malaysia, U22 Vietnam will have the best spirit and expertise to win," Dinh Bac affirmed.

Despite the difficult victory against U22 Laos, U22 Vietnam has completed the goal of winning all 3 points. This is a favorable start to help Dinh Bac and his teammates aim for the Gold Medal (HCV) of SEA Games 33.

"In football, we cannot predict anything, but U22 Vietnam comes to Thailand with the highest determination and is not afraid of any team. We will play with the pride of a Vietnamese, dedicating the best to the country.

Hopefully fans will continue to support U22 Vietnam. We will play our best and try to bring joy to everyone," Dinh Bac emphasized.

With the victory over U22 Laos, U22 Vietnam now has 3 points (+1 goal difference) and temporarily leads Group B. In the next match, U22 Vietnam will meet U22 Malaysia on December 11, while U22 Laos will end the group stage with a match against U22 Malaysia on November 6.
