Deputy Director of the Department of Finance as acting chairman of Soc Trang Lottery Company

(Dan Tri) - The Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Can Tho City was seconded and assigned to be the acting Chairman of Soc Trang Lottery Company.

At Soc Trang Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. (Phu Loi Ward, Can Tho City), Can Tho City People's Committee recently held a conference on personnel work.

At the conference, the People's Committee of Can Tho City implemented the decision on retirement to receive social insurance benefits for Mr. Lam Du Nhon, Chairman of Soc Trang Lottery Company, from December 1.

Can Tho City People's Committee also implemented the decision on the secondment of Mr. Diep Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of Can Tho City Department of Finance, to work at Soc Trang Lottery Company and assigned him to hold the position of Acting Chairman of this company from December 1 (the period of secondment and assignment to hold the position shall not exceed 12 months).

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vuong Quoc Nam, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding business results of Soc Trang Lottery Company.

He asked the company's leadership to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and creativity, striving to complete production and business targets in 2025.

According to information on the Soc Trang Lottery Company's Electronic Information Portal, 9-month sales reached VND 5,320 billion, equal to 76.32% of the yearly plan, an increase of 11.788% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, pre-tax profit reached over VND 681 billion, equal to 75.06% of the plan, up over 9.2%; State budget payment was over VND 1,941 billion, reaching 87.47% of the yearly plan.
