Phu Quy listed at 119 - 122 million VND/tael (buy - sell), the price increased by 1.3 million VND/tael for buying and selling, compared to the closing price of yesterday's trading session.

World gold price today 05/11/2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 3,328.94 USD/ounce. Today's gold price decreased by 0.24% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (26,381 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 105.8 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 16.2 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

The world gold price had a period of deep adjustment but then rebounded due to the decline of the USD. The world gold price was also actively supported by the news that the People's Bank of China (PBOC) had net bought gold for the 6th consecutive month in April this year, with a purchase volume of 70,000 ounces.
Forecasting gold price trends, according to analysts, US-China trade tensions have become one of the factors strongly affecting the world gold market.
Considered a safe haven in times of economic and geopolitical uncertainty, gold prices tend to spike when trade tensions rise.
Tim Waterer, a market analyst at KCM Trade, said the trend of buying gold when prices fall is still prevalent. This has helped to curb the decline in global gold prices, although demand for gold to hold assets has eased due to the US and UK reaching a trade agreement.
He said the developments in the US-China trade negotiations will be a key factor in determining whether world gold prices will trade above or below the $3,300/ounce mark next week.
With strong demand, many banks predict that gold could reach $4,000 an ounce this year, with Bank of America being the most optimistic.
“I’m still bullish,” said James Stanley, senior market strategist at Forex.com. “The $3,500 level is a formidable resistance level for spot gold, but the buying pressure has persisted, with prices hitting $3,200 last week and $3,300 this week – suggesting that buyers are not completely out of the woods yet.”
