The price of SJC gold was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) at 82.2 - 84.2 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 300 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price. The difference between the buying price and selling price is 2.0 million VND.
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold today at 82.5 - 84.5 million VND/tael, keeping the same buying and selling price compared to the end of December 30. The difference between the buying and selling price of DOJI gold is 2 million VND/tael.
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited also decreased by 200,000 VND/tael, currently trading at 82.5-84.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell). At Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is also trading at 82.5-84.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey listed the price of SJC gold at 83.7-84.2 million VND/tael for buying and selling.
The group of state-owned commercial banks (Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Agribank , BIDV) listed the price of SJC gold bars at 84.2 million VND/tael.

The price of gold rings of some gold brands in Hanoi this morning also decreased compared to the previous session.
Specifically, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold rings at DOJI is listed at 83.6 - 84.5 million VND/tael, down 100,000 VND/tael in buying price, unchanged in selling price compared to the session on December 31. Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) listed the price of SJC gold rings type 1-5 at only 82.2 - 84 million VND/tael, down 300,000 VND/tael in buying and selling price.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of plain round rings at 82.9 - 84.5 million VND/tael.

In the international market, today's gold price is trading at 2,608 USD/ounce, down about 15 USD/ounce compared to the previous session.
Precious metal prices on the international market continued to decline as the USD index remained high, surpassing 107.7 points; US bond interest rates also remained high, surpassing 4.5%, attracting capital inflows from investors.
After many days of not surpassing the $2,650/ounce zone, gold prices have been under downward pressure and profit-taking pressure at the end of the year. However, if calculated from the beginning of 2024 until now, gold has still increased by about 30% - the strongest increase in many years.
