World oil prices
On the morning of August 6, 2025 (Vietnam time), Brent oil price decreased by 1.63% to 67.64 USD/barrel, while WTI oil price decreased by 1.7% to 65.16 USD/barrel, the lowest level in 5 weeks.
The reason is that OPEC+ increased production by 547,000 barrels/day from September and concerns about falling global oil demand, despite tensions from US President Donald Trump's threat to impose tariffs on India over oil purchases from Russia.

Market situation
The oil market was affected by the US-EU trade agreement, rising US crude oil inventories, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. World oil prices fluctuated, with RON92 gasoline up 0.77%, RON95 up 0.75%, kerosene up 0.44%, diesel down 0.5%, and fuel oil up 1.2%.
The oil market is expected to remain stable until more information is available about the US move and the reaction of countries buying Russian oil, especially India - a country that imports 1.75 million barrels of Russian oil per day.
