Gasoline prices increase by more than 300 VND/liter after 3 consecutive sessions of decrease

From 3:00 p.m. today, November 7, the prices of all types of gasoline will be adjusted to increase simultaneously.

Specifically, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 336 VND/liter, not higher than 19,744 VND/liter; the price of RON95 gasoline increased by 351 VND/liter, not higher than 20,854 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, the prices of many types of oil also increased: diesel price increased by 769 VND/liter, up to 18,917 VND/liter; kerosene price increased by 461 VND/liter, up to 19,294 VND/liter. In contrast, fuel oil price decreased by 67 VND/kg, not higher than 16,394 VND/kg.

In this period, the regulatory agency continues not to set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund for any products.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the world oil market in this period (from October 31 to November 6) is affected by factors such as: conflicts in the Middle East, OPEC+ postponing plans to increase oil production, military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues...

The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days depending on the product.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on October 31 and the adjustment period on November 7 is: 79,970 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (up 2,064 USD/barrel); 85,500 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 1,852 USD/barrel); 90,910 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 2,664 USD/barrel); 90,693 USD/barrel of diesel oil (up 4,419 USD/barrel); 464,355 USD/ton of fuel oil (down 2,357 USD/ton).

Previously, in the operating period on October 31, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND284/liter, not higher than VND19,408/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by VND391/liter, not higher than VND20,503/liter. This is the third consecutive decrease in domestic gasoline prices.

In contrast to gasoline prices, oil prices increased simultaneously. Specifically, diesel increased by 91 VND/liter, not higher than 18,148 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 263 VND/liter, not higher than 18,833 VND/liter and fuel oil increased by 232 VND/kg, not higher than 16,461 VND/kg.

During this period, the regulatory agency did not set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund for any products.
