FDI Enterprise Trade Union - A support for workers

Thai Nguyen currently has hundreds of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises operating, attracting tens of thousands of workers. At FDI enterprises, the trade union organization is not only a bridge between workers and enterprises but also a solid support, taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers.

Trade unions always pay attention to coordinating with businesses to protect workers' rights.

Although GV Industrial Co., Ltd. has only been established and operated for about 2 years, it has now stabilized production and recruited more than 60 local workers. Recently, the company's grassroots union was launched, which is an opportunity for the company to demonstrate its commitment to its employees.

Ms. Duong Thi Mai, an assembly worker at GV Industrial Co., Ltd., said: “When I was recruited to work for the company, I always tried my best to complete my work well to have a stable income. The company cares about labor safety, income and life of the workers.

The Provincial Federation of Labor always cares about the lives of workers in the province's industrial parks.

Many grassroots unions at FDI enterprises have successfully negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with many provisions more favorable to workers.

With the active support of the trade union, workers at FDI enterprises in Thai Nguyen are increasingly confident in their commitment and dedication. This is also an important factor contributing to the building of harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the context of international integration...

Mr. Doan Manh Thang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, affirmed: The trade union organization always listens and shares with grassroots trade union organizations, especially trade unions in industrial parks in the province, thereby closely coordinating and promptly resolving arising issues with the aim of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers.

Currently, Thai Nguyen has over 200 FDI enterprises in operation, with a total registered capital of nearly 11 billion USD, mainly concentrated in the southern region of the province. These enterprises not only bring in budget revenue but also create jobs for many local workers.

With 245 grassroots trade union organizations always accompanying businesses and workers, through specific activities, the role of grassroots trade union organizations is being affirmed, contributing to improving the quality of human resources and taking good care of the material and spiritual life of workers.
