Currently, Imexpharm is the largest domestic drug supplier in the Pharmacity system, especially leading in the antibiotic group and Combokit line - integrated treatment solutions, convenient for patients. With a diverse portfolio from treatment drugs, new generation antibiotics to healthcare products meeting European standards and reasonable prices, Imexpharm contributes to improving people's access to quality drugs. This cooperation also affirms the strategic position of both brands in the domestic pharmaceutical ecosystem.

Not only focusing on production and sustainable development, Imexpharm and Pharmacity also focus on spreading professional knowledge, contributing to improving the quality of public health care. Following that orientation, on July 22, 2025, the two sides coordinated to organize a workshop on "Selection and consultation on rational use of drugs in the treatment of respiratory infections". The program is part of a series of professional training for pharmacists nationwide, helping to update product knowledge, improve consulting skills and use drugs properly - especially for common diseases such as respiratory diseases.
Mr. Deepanshu Madan - General Director of Pharmacity, emphasized: “The activity not only contributes to improving the professional capacity of the pharmacist team, but also realizes the common mission between Pharmacity and Imexpharm in taking care of community health and developing the domestic pharmaceutical industry. As the leading domestic drug supplier at Pharmacity, this cooperation helps ensure that people have access to high-quality drugs with effective and reliable consulting services”.

Speaking at the event, Imexpharm representative DS. Vu Dinh Xuan - National Sales Director, shared: “Imexpharm is currently investing heavily in R&D to develop high-tech, high-value drugs, first-generics and bioequivalent drugs, meeting the need for effective treatment at reasonable costs in the context of increasingly complex and increasing disease models... The training session is a bridge to help Pharmacity pharmacists accompany Imexpharm in bringing effective solutions to public health.”
Imexpharm representative added that in 2025, in addition to the strategy of optimizing operational efficiency, the company will focus on promoting cooperation with large pharmacy chains - to expand market coverage and improve access to quality drugs for people across the country. Quickly grasping pharmaceutical consumption trends in professional distribution systems has helped Imexpharm bring quality, safe, and effective products closer to the community.
In addition to expanding the product portfolio and organizing professional training programs, Imexpharm and Pharmacity also cooperate in many initiatives for community health. A typical example is the free medical examination and medicine distribution program in Ben Tre province on May 31, 2025. This is an activity within the framework of "Pharmacity - More than sharing" launched by Pharmacity since 2024 and received a lot of companionship and support from partners. At the program, the two sides organized medical examinations, free medicine distribution and health care knowledge dissemination for people in remote areas. In addition, the gift giving activity for 300 inpatients at the City Children's Hospital on May 27, 2025 is also an important highlight in the strategy of connecting pharmacies, manufacturers and hospitals, helping to care for disadvantaged patients as well as expanding access to high-quality products to frontline medical facilities.

The partnership between Imexpharm and Pharmacity is not only a product distribution partnership, but also demonstrates a shared commitment to developing the domestic pharmaceutical industry, supporting the national healthcare system and improving the health of Vietnamese people in a sustainable manner. This vision is completely consistent with the National Strategy for the Development of the Vietnamese Pharmaceutical Industry to 2045. Domestic enterprises such as Imexpharm are striving to transform themselves to contribute to realizing the vision of building a modern, high-tech pharmaceutical industry that is competitive and deeply involved in the global value chain. In particular, segments belonging to Group 1 and Group 2 - which are currently strongly dominated by imported drugs - need to be given more attention and development by domestic enterprises.
In the coming time, the two enterprises will continue to expand cooperation, accompany each other in research, professional training and community activities, together aiming to build a modern, humane and accessible medical ecosystem for all Vietnamese people.
