Gasoline prices have risen again, reaching close to 21,000 VND/liter.

Today, effective from 3 PM on November 28th, fuel prices have increased by 497 VND per liter for E5 RON 92 gasoline and 329 VND per liter for RON 95 gasoline; diesel prices have also risen.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have just adjusted retail gasoline and diesel prices in today's adjustment period (November 28). The prices will be applied from 3 PM on November 28, 2024.

Today's fuel prices, effective from 3 PM on November 28th, show an increase of 497 VND per liter for E5 RON 92 gasoline and 329 VND per liter for RON 95 gasoline; diesel prices also increased.

Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 497 VND/liter, reaching 19,840 VND/liter; RON 95 gasoline increased by 329 VND/liter, reaching 20,857 VND/liter.

Diesel fuel 0.05S increased by 268 VND/liter, reaching 18,777 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 221 VND/liter, reaching 19,142 VND/liter; mazut 180CST 3.5S increased by 111 VND/kg, reaching 16,125 VND/kg.

During this price adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of refined petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period of November 21, 2024 and the price adjustment period of November 28, 2024 was: 80.360 USD/barrel for RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (an increase of 2.782 USD/barrel, equivalent to a 3.59% increase); 85.362 USD/barrel for RON95 gasoline (an increase of 1.716 USD/barrel, equivalent to a 2.05% increase); 89.878 USD/barrel for kerosene (an increase of 1.266 USD/barrel, equivalent to a 1.43% increase); 89.732 USD/barrel for 0.05S diesel oil (an increase of 1.530 USD/barrel, equivalent to a 1.73% increase). 453,944 USD/ton for 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (an increase of 3,896 USD/ton, equivalent to a 0.87% increase).

On the world market, at 6:00 AM on November 28th, WTI crude oil was priced at $68.77 per barrel, down 0.01%, or $0.01 per barrel. Brent crude oil was priced at $72.93 per barrel, up 0.16%, or $0.12 per barrel.

Oil prices were virtually unchanged today, pressured by a surprise surge in US gasoline inventories and concerns about a US interest rate cut next year. However, prices received some support from concerns about reduced supply following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah.

The Energy Information Administration reported that U.S. gasoline inventories rose by 3.3 million barrels this week to 212.2 million barrels, contrary to analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 46,000-barrel decrease.

In the most recent price adjustment (November 21st), the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance jointly reduced the prices of all types of gasoline and diesel. Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 109 VND/liter, not exceeding 19,343 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by 79 VND/liter, not exceeding 20,528 VND/liter.

Diesel fuel prices decreased by 64 VND/liter, to 18,509 VND/liter. Kerosene prices decreased by 67 VND/liter, to 18,921 VND/liter. Mazut prices, however, increased by 5 VND/kg, not exceeding 16,014 VND/kg.

In this price adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continue to neither allocate funds nor utilize the fuel price stabilization fund for these products.
