FPT pioneered the introduction of a comprehensive solution ecosystem for these problems at the "70th Anniversary Ceremony of Building and Developing the System: Science, Technology, Digital Transformation, and Training of Human Resources in the Healthcare Sector" of the Ministry of Health , taking place on November 17-18 in Hanoi.

As a technology unit with more than 23 years of accompanying the Vietnamese healthcare industry, FPT is honored to attend the event, bringing in-depth perspectives on the application of artificial intelligence and digital technology in the closed healthcare process from home to pharmacy to hospital, while introducing key technology solutions that are accompanying the healthcare industry.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Tri Thuc emphasized: “In the recent period, the health sector has achieved many achievements in science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation and human resource training, especially many outstanding achievements in science and technology when implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 71-Q/TW and Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW, bringing many new methods and products to serve the work of public health care. These results contribute to realizing the Government's great goal of universal health care, helping people access quality health services and moving towards comprehensive health care."

Within the framework of the event, FPT representative, Dr. Tran Tung - Director of FPT IS Healthcare Digital Transformation Solution Consulting, FPT Corporation presented an in-depth perspective on the application of artificial intelligence, big data and digital platforms in comprehensive healthcare. FPT said that technologies such as IoMT, electronic medical records, 5G, big data, blockchain or smart hospital systems are opening up the possibility of connecting, monitoring and managing healthcare in real time.

In particular, AI is considered a key factor for imaging diagnosis, supporting personalized treatment, automating hospital processes, clinical pharmacy and disease prevention, and creating a foundation for developing telehealth and remote care. However, to implement effectively, the healthcare sector needs a synchronous data infrastructure, a complete legal corridor, ensuring security and safety, and developing human resources. FPT affirms that it will continue to accompany the Ministry of Health in the journey to build a smart, modern and sustainable healthcare ecosystem.

At the same presentation session, a representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) also shared about the model "Doctor for every family" - a platform built by FPT for the Ministry of Health through funding from UNDP, to expand access to remote medical examination and treatment services.

As of October 31, 2025, the system has recorded outstanding results: 1.9 million citizen accounts were activated; 73,556 citizens booked 119,118 remote medical appointments; and 23,696 video calls were made, of which 15,683 were for remote medical support... These figures show the effectiveness of the large-scale telehealth model, and at the same time affirm FPT's capacity in accompanying the construction of digital medical platforms to serve the universal health care goals of the Government, the Ministry of Health and international organizations.

Along with the professional sharing activities, FPT brought to the event exhibition a series of typical technology solutions, demonstrating its journey with the healthcare industry. FPT's smart hospital ecosystem has accompanied more than 300 hospitals nationwide with FPT.eHospital hospital management solutions.

Accordingly, the comprehensive hospital management ecosystem FPT.eHospital includes groups of solution systems such as medical examination and treatment management (HIS), laboratory management group (LIS), diagnostic imaging management group (RIS), image storage and communication (PACS), electronic medical records (EMR), financial and operational control group, integration and connection group, administration group and smart new application group. In particular, the Electronic Medical Records Management System - FPT.EMR was built by FPT as an independent software, helping medical facilities manage all patient treatment information on the same system, towards a paperless hospital model, a smart hospital.

Recently, FPT has accompanied a series of hospitals nationwide to accelerate the implementation of electronic medical records, not only to meet the requirements of the task but also to transform management and operations, on the basis of digital technology. Within 6 months, FPT and 70 hospitals nationwide, including many leading hospitals, successfully implemented electronic medical records.

Based on the characteristics of each facility, FPT's team of experts builds a flexible implementation roadmap, helping hospitals find solutions in converting paper medical records to electronic medical records. FPT introduces AzLadin, a digital healthcare platform developed by FPT to support smart and personalized medical models. The solution allows hospitals and clinics to manage medical records, monitor treatment processes and provide remote consultation on an integrated system. By optimizing operations and increasing patient-doctor interaction, AzLadin helps improve the care experience, reduce costs and improve service efficiency, suitable for medical units moving towards a modern, patient-centered model.
