For Ms. Bouppha Onemani, a Lao veteran who worked in the Samnuea liberated zone, Houaphanh province, the performance brought her many special emotions. She recalled the difficult years when she shared the joys and sorrows with Vietnamese soldiers and volunteers on the battlefield, a time when the Lao-Vietnamese solidarity was tested and forged with blood, sweat and sacrifice. When listening to the songs praising the Lao-Vietnamese friendship and seeing the elaborate stage set, Ms. Bouppha could not hide her emotions. The melodies seemed to bring her back to the memories of a time of war, a time when the two nations always stood side by side, fighting together for independence and a bright future for each country. According to her, the art program is not only a performance night, but also a meaningful reminder of the special tradition of solidarity between Laos and Vietnam and that loyal affection has been, is and will continue to be the foundation for the two countries to support and help each other in every stage of development.

Sharing with VNA reporters in Laos, Colonel - People's Artist Duong Thi Kim Ngan - Political Commissar of the Military Region 1 Art Troupe, said that she and all the actors and artists of the troupe were extremely proud to perform in Laos on this special occasion. This time, the Military Region 1 Art Troupe brought typical Vietnamese songs and folk songs typical of regions in Military Region 1, especially works about Viet Bac, about ethnic minorities, and the performance 'Co Doi Thuong Ngan' - a unique cultural feature of the military region. In addition, the troupe also performed Lao folk songs to create emotional harmony. From the arrangement, staging to performance, every performance was seamless to express the solidarity between Vietnam and Laos and send wishes to Laos to successfully organize the 50th National Day celebration; wishing for the Vietnam - Laos friendship to be forever green and sustainable.

The art program is not only a simple cultural exchange activity but also a vivid demonstration of the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States, two armies and peoples of the two countries.
