The race 'One determination - For a drug-free community' was held for the first time in Quang Ninh

(PLVN) - Responding to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control, the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province co-chaired the program "Sharing One Determination - For a Drug-Free Community". Thereby, contributing to promoting propaganda and raising community awareness in preventing and combating crime and drug abuse.

The "One determination - For a drug-free community" race officially returned on June 29, held in Quang Ninh - a heritage land with beautiful coastal roads.

According to the Organizing Committee, with an expanded scale of up to 5,000 athletes, this year's event is not only a mass sports activity, but also a strong message in response to the Month of Action against Drugs and the National Day against Drugs (June 26).

This is an opportunity for the community to show solidarity and determination in the fight against drug abuse and build a healthy, safe and sustainable living environment.

The Organizing Committee said that the highlight of this year's tournament is the application of modern chiptime technology, which helps record accurate results according to professional competition standards. This not only ensures fairness and transparency, but also enhances the experience for each participating athlete.

The race is scheduled to take place from 4:30 a.m. on June 29, including: 5km distance for men and women and 10km distance for men and women. The race route starts from the gate on Tran Quoc Nghien Street, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, one of the most beautiful and poetic routes in Quang Ninh Province. Participants: Participants from 14 years old and above who are able to complete the race, from the starting line to the finish line, within the prescribed time for the corresponding distances. At the end of the race, the Organizing Committee will award prizes to the winning individuals according to each distance. For the 5km distance: 2 First prizes: 3,000,000 VND/prize; 4 Second prizes: 2,000,000 VND/prize; 6 Third prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize. For the 10km distance: 2 First prizes: 5,000,000 VND/prize; 4 Second prizes: 4,000,000 VND/prize; 6 Third prizes: 3,000,000 VND/prize.
