Rescue driver trapped in gasoline tanker that crashed into house

On May 1, information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hai Phong City Police said that the unit had just successfully rescued a gasoline tanker truck traveling on National Highway 10, suddenly crashing into a house at dawn.

At 3:47 a.m. on May 1, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hai Phong City Police received information about a tanker truck traveling on National Highway 10, suddenly losing control and crashing into a house at the Quang Thanh intersection (Quang Trung Commune, An Lao District, Hai Phong City). The unit immediately mobilized forces and vehicles of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team KV4 to the scene.

Due to the dangerous nature of the incident (a gasoline tanker), the Fire Prevention and Rescue Department mobilized 3 specialized vehicles and other vehicles to quickly approach, block off the scene, organize rescue and prevent the risk of fire and explosion.

At this time, the tanker truck was stuck deep into a house, the cabin of the truck was severely damaged, the driver VHM (born in 1987, residing in So Dau ward, Hong Bang district, Hai Phong city) was trapped inside, the scene was devastated, making rescue work difficult.

After nearly 1 hour of effort, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Zone 4 was able to bring the VHM driver out safely and organize the emergency treatment for the victim, while implementing necessary measures to prevent the fuel in the tank from leaking.

Initial reports indicate that the accident did not cause any damage to the health or lives of residents, but severely damaged the exterior of a house along Highway 10, and the front of the tanker truck was also severely damaged.

Currently, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Hai Phong City Police continue to coordinate with local police to handle the incident, ensuring the safety of the gasoline tank to prevent incidents that endanger the property and lives of people in the area.
