The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department was honored to receive the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister . In particular, Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, was awarded the First Class Military Merit Medal.

Earlier, on the afternoon of December 27th in Hanoi, the Organizing Committee of the 80th National Police Conference announced and presented awards and honorary titles from the Party, State, and Ministry of Public Security to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in their work and combat.

On behalf of the President of Vietnam, Minister Luong Tam Quang presented the First Class Military Merit Order to two collectives: the Security Investigation Department and the Economic Police Department; and three individuals: Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam (Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police), Colonel Vu Nhu Ha (Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police), and Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan (Director of the Phu Tho Provincial Police).
