The 2025-2026 school year is the second year of the 2018 General Education Program applied to all grades. At this time, at many large bookstores in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, etc., the supply of textbooks from grades 1 to 12 of all textbook sets is full. Parents can easily choose and buy for their children.
Vietnam Education Publishing House said that from July 28 to September 30, Hanoi Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (a member of Vietnam Education Publishing House) will offer a 10% discount on all textbooks and exercise books (applicable to the Connecting Knowledge with Life book series) at all Edubook stores. This is to share the burden of the new school year with parents, ensuring social security.
This is not the first time the unit has introduced a preferential policy on textbook prices. In previous school years, the Vietnam Education Publishing House has repeatedly reviewed related cost items, especially costs for organizing manuscripts and circulation costs to reduce textbook prices.
Textbook price lists are always fully and publicly posted at textbook sales points nationwide; on the general electronic information page of the Vietnam Education Publishing House (at www.nxbgd.vn) and on mass media according to regulations; ensuring accuracy, clarity, no confusion, convenient for customers to observe and recognize; protecting the rights of students and users.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Vietnam Education Publishing House will print 160.8 million textbooks, of which about 2-3% of the output is reserved for use in case of unexpected events, natural disasters, storms and floods... Vietnam Education Publishing House is a 100% state-owned enterprise, so the organization of bidding for textbook printing is carried out in accordance with the Law on Bidding.
NXBGDVN has developed a plan for printing textbooks very early to organize printing and warehousing work in time to serve the distribution needs. NXBGDVN has completed 100% of printing and warehousing work and is actively and urgently organizing the supply of textbooks to localities.
Up to this point, the Vietnam Education Publishing House has supplied 157.8 million textbooks (98%) of the plan, ensuring to meet market demand, fully and promptly supplying textbooks to students and teachers nationwide before the new school year begins.
