Vietnamese supervisors and referees practice right after the training course ends.

On December 20, the closing ceremony of the referee and supervisor training course was held at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). VFF leaders and officials such as Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - President of VFF, Mr. Dang Thanh Ha - Head of the Referee Committee, match supervisors, referee supervisors and referees and assistant referees were all present at the ceremony.

Mr. Dang Thanh Ha - Head of the VFF Referee Board said that the existing problems have been learned from and new regulations have been added for match supervisors. During the training period, the course's Organizing Committee spent time to supplement the supervisors with the rules and regulations of football for non-professional tournaments. Regarding the results, most of the students achieved a good level or higher, showing progress and seriousness in the learning process.

Based on the training course report, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Chairman of VFF said that VFF hopes that non-professional tournaments will become more and more professional, including supervisors, referees, clubs/teams... It is very important that players increasingly improve their professional awareness because in the future they will become professional players competing in the first division, V-League and higher at the national team level.

Through the training course, VFF hopes that match supervisors, referee supervisors, and referees will be equipped with more new knowledge, have more solutions and ways to handle things on the field as well as further improve their professionalism in the management work. In addition to improving their expertise, further access to technology and foreign languages (especially English) will help supervisors and referees strive towards the goal of participating in the management of international matches and tournaments.

The work of improving the professional skills of Vietnamese referees is increasingly focused on.

The training course for supervisors and referees of non-professional national tournaments in 2025 will take place over 5 days (from December 16 to December 20) with many important contents such as updating competition rules, plans for organizing non-professional national tournaments, non-professional football regulations and updating tournament regulations, drawing experience from supervisory and refereeing work from the 2024 season and many discussion contents taken from real situations will be included by the lecturers in the content of the training course. In the physical test for the referee force participating in the training course for supervisors and referees of non-professional national football tournaments in 2025, the result was that 45/45 (100%) of referees and assistant referees completed this important content.

Immediately after the end of the training course for supervisors and referees of non-professional national tournaments in 2025, qualified supervisors and referees will be assigned to work in non-professional national tournaments in 2025, the earliest of which is the qualifying round of the 2024-2025 National U.19 tournament, opening on December 22 in the host localities.
