Meeting on Youth Union work and youth movement in the Red River Delta cluster in the first 6 months of 2025

Attending the conference at the Provincial Youth Union bridge point, there were comrades representing the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, departments under the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of districts, towns, City Youth Unions, affiliated unions, and the Provincial Youth Activity Center.

In line with the 2025 working theme "Vietnamese youth are proud and confident in following the Party", in the first 6 months of 2025, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the Red River Delta cluster have closely followed the leadership and direction of local Party committees and the Central Youth Union, strengthened coordination with sectors and organizations, and mobilized resources to effectively implement the Youth Union's work and youth movements.

The propaganda and education work of the Youth Union has many innovations in both content and form with the motto "brief, easy to remember, easy to apply", suitable for each group of union members and youth. Revolutionary action movements and programs accompanying youth are widely organized from provinces and cities to the grassroots, demonstrating the spirit of shock, volunteerism and creativity of Youth Union members in participating in taking on new and difficult tasks. The work of coordinating participation in activities organized by the Union at higher levels and political tasks of localities and units is focused on and implemented seriously and effectively. In the first 6 months of the year, the provincial and municipal Youth Unions in the Red River Delta cluster have carried out more than 8,000 youth projects and tasks with a total benefit value of nearly 70 billion VND; planted over 2 million new trees, contributing to the construction of rural and urban environmental landscapes. There are over 10,000 ideas and initiatives of young people from units in the cluster posted on the Vietnam Youth Creative Idea Bank Portal.

The Youth Union chapters in the cluster have organized career counseling and guidance for more than 100,000 young people, and introduced jobs to more than 21,000 young people. The work of caring for andeducating teenagers and children has been focused on. The work of building the Youth Union, expanding the solidarity front to gather young people, participating in Party building and the political system has achieved many positive results. The whole cluster has more than 100,000 new members, 18,456 outstanding members have been introduced to the Party for consideration, of which 5,496 new members were admitted from outstanding members.

Regarding the key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025, the provincial and municipal Youth Unions in the Red River Delta cluster continue to focus on solutions to effectively implement the annual work targets and term targets, especially those that have not been achieved; organize emulation activities to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress. Effectively carry out revolutionary action movements and programs accompanying young people, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. Deploy solutions to develop entrepreneurial capacity for young people, participate in creating an environment to support young people in starting businesses, developing the country on the basis of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Strengthen activities to foster and train political ideology, ethics and lifestyle for Youth Union officials and members. Coordinate and direct the promotion of propaganda work, and organize the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the provincial and municipal levels. Focus on implementing the streamlining and organization according to the direction of the Central Youth Union and local Party committees.
