Over the past 5 years, the Provincial Press Awards have received 583 entries from members of the Journalists Association, reporters, editors, and collaborators from press agencies inside and outside the province.
The entries comprehensively reflect all socio-economic development activities, ensuring national defense and security, and building the political system of the province. Many works are of discovery, warning, forecasting, predicting, demonstrating positive humanity, inspiring, creating a spread, replicating advanced models in labor, production, in social charity work, protecting the ecological environment, proposing a number of solutions for sustainable development. Many authors have invested efforts, closely following real life, engaging in events and incidents, analyzing, explaining and citing specific, vivid and convincing evidence...

For the 2024 Provincial Press Awards alone, the journalist associations received 140 entries and 96 were selected for the final round, including: 20 print entries; 16 online entries; 19 radio entries; 30 television entries; and 11 press photos.
This year's entries have rich content, timely, vividly and comprehensively reflecting the areas of social life, economy , culture, security - defense, political system building... Many works not only closely follow local realities but also expand the scope of reflection to provinces in the Central Highlands region. Thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to the people; at the same time, raising outstanding issues that need the attention of functional sectors to solve...

At the Award Ceremony, the Award Council awarded 3 A prizes, 6 B prizes, 14 C prizes and 26 Encouragement prizes to authors and groups of authors.
In particular, the A prize for print journalism was awarded to the work "Implementing Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW of the Politburo: Exploiting resources from "dare to think, dare to do" by the group of authors Nguyen Giang Nam, Cao Minh Thong, Nguyen Vu Minh Thuan (Dak Lak Newspaper); the A prize for radio belonged to the work "Dak Lak - Green progress on the CARBON market map" by the author Vu Thi Huong Ly (Resident agency of the Voice of Vietnam in the Central Highlands); the A prize for television was awarded to the work "70 years on the journey of faith" by the group of authors Quoc Bao, Tu Anh, Lam Thanh, Trung Kien, Quoc Trung (Dak Lak Radio - Television Station, now Dak Lak Newspaper).

Speaking at the award ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha emphasized that, through 5 times of organization, the Dak Lak Provincial Press Award has always received the attention and participation of a large number of journalists in the province, the number of works increased with each season.
The entries have been invested seriously and elaborately, reflecting objectively and honestly; analyzing, explaining and citing specific and vivid evidence, having the power to spread, move and inspire strongly in society...
