Meeting on Party building organization work in the first quarter of 2024

This afternoon, March 26, in Trieu Phong district, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Phan Van Phung chaired a conference to review Party building work in the first quarter and deploy key tasks in the second quarter of 2024.

In the first quarter of 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the district-level Party Committee's Organizing Committee have carried out and completed a large volume of work with increasingly improved quality, contributing significantly to the results of Party building work.

In particular, actively advising on the good implementation of topics, projects, regulations, directives and instructions; summarizing and concluding major policies and resolutions and participating in the quality of drafting documents of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

Timely advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to specify many documents to deploy and implement the work of organizing and building the Party, ensuring conditions, standards, and implementation procedures in accordance with regulations. Pay attention to consolidating and developing the Party organization, Party members, and socio- political organizations.

Actively advise on the implementation of internal political protection work. Implement well the training and fostering of professional skills, political theory and policy work for cadres.

In addition to the achievements, the rate of party member development in some localities is still low. Along with that, the regulations on internal political protection of the Politburo and the instructions of the Central Organizing Committee have some unclear contents, so localities are confused and have difficulties in the implementation process.

In the second quarter of 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee identified 4 key tasks to focus on implementing. In particular, advising on reviewing, adjusting and supplementing the planning of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and provincial leadership positions; the work of rotating, mobilizing and arranging cadres; adjusting job positions of the Party bloc, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the provincial and district levels. Advising on the establishment of sub-committees to organize and serve the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; documents of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee directing party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress. Monitoring, guiding and appraising the personnel plan for the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the term 2024-2029.

Organize the first round of civil servant examinations and assessments in 2024. Advise, amend and supplement a number of regulations of the Provincial Party Committee. Guide the arrangement of organizations, cadres, civil servants of party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in communes implementing administrative unit arrangement in the period of 2023 - 2030.

Advise on organizing civil servant promotion exams, considering promotion of officials of Party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the district level in 2024. Guide the implementation of the new salary regime according to Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated May 21, 2018 of the Central Executive Committee of the Party...

Concluding the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Phan Van Phung emphasized that the difficult task in the coming time is to guide the arrangement of organizations, cadres, civil servants of party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in communes to carry out the arrangement of administrative units.

Therefore, the Party building organization sector needs to closely follow regulations, do a good job of advising and guiding personnel work; review and supplement planning work.

Proactively calculate and reasonably arrange cadres to rotate to the grassroots. Focus on doing a good job of developing party members. For problems that arise and are difficult to solve during the implementation of tasks, localities need to report, recommend and propose to superiors for timely resolution and handling.
