Youth Union members offer flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.
In order to enhance the political capacity and patriotism of cadres and young union members, the Provincial Youth Union organized a journey to the red address and a Youth Theory Club activity with the theme "Forever Revolutionary Heroism" at the Ngoc Trao Guerrilla War Zone Relic Site, Ngoc Trao Commune. At the program, young union members visited the relic site, reviewed the historical tradition and great significance of the Ngoc Trao Guerrilla War Zone; the heroic feats and heroic sacrifices of Ngoc Trao guerrillas - a revolutionary army of intelligence, bravery and humanity, the excellent sons of the People, wholeheartedly devoted to the goal of national liberation. Through that, it contributed to raising awareness, patriotism and revolutionary tradition among young union members; at the same time, promoting youth, continuing the tradition of their ancestors to study, practice and contribute to building their homeland to become increasingly prosperous.
As a young man, having been able to report many times to Uncle Ho at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area (Hac Thanh Ward), Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial General Hospital, said: "In the calm and solemn atmosphere, with respect and infinite gratitude to beloved Uncle Ho, I, as well as many cadres and youth union members, always keep in mind Uncle Ho's advice for the youth, considering it a compass, a bright torch to constantly study, practice, and contribute to building the homeland and the country stronger and stronger."
Right from the beginning of 2025, closely following the core tasks of the Youth Union, one of the contents that the Youth Union at all levels attach importance to is to strengthen the education of revolutionary traditions and political ideology for young union members. This work has been and is being implemented through specific and practical activities, such as: Writing research articles, implementing campaigns, seminars, thematic talks, rallies, commemorating major holidays of the country, the province and the Youth Union organization, thereby helping young people better understand the historical significance of the nation.
The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been strongly spread among the Youth Union members. All levels of the Union have actively registered the content of study and training, effectively maintained the model of "Electronic Diary", and the activities "Remembering Uncle Ho makes our hearts brighter". In the first 7 months of 2025, the whole Union has honored nearly 2,600 advanced youths who follow Uncle Ho.
Along with that, many meaningful activities have been organized such as: Caring for and showing gratitude to those with merit, through practical actions to promote the movement "Repaying gratitude"; organizing political activities "Keeping the fire of tradition"; studying the source; meetings and exchanges with historical figures, heroes of the People's Armed Forces..., thereby cultivating ideals, will and courage for young people. Youth Union chapters at all levels have organized for young people to visit historical sites such as: President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area (Hac Thanh ward); Pine Forest Historical Site (Dong Son ward), Uncle Ho Memorial Area (Yen Truong commune)... - places that mark the times Uncle Ho visited and talked with the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa province; are "red addresses" to educate historical and revolutionary traditions for cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the province in general, and the young generation in particular.
Paying attention to education on revolutionary traditions, politics and ideology helps cadres and young union members gain more knowledge and political courage, thereby arousing the pride and excitement of young people determined to compete in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to build Thanh Hoa into a "model" province as beloved Uncle Ho once wished.
