The exchange session had more than 200 people from many professions attending, listening to the sharing and enthusiastically asking questions to Professor Phan Van Truong.
Most of the questions revolve around the topic "How can young people living in today's information-filled age find themselves?", "How can young people be critical or tolerant?"...
The value of a man is what he gives.
Professor Phan Van Truong said that in each person's life, there are only 5 questions that are frequently repeated: Why, How, For What, For Whom, At What Cost. And when each person can answer these questions, they will have a broader view of what they are doing.
"I see that the Vietnamese identity is knowing themselves well, being intelligent, studious, hard-working, diligent, filial, polite... but still asking themselves 'Who am I?'" - he said.
"The value of a person is what you give, not what you keep. And who are you when you create value to give, not for yourself. How rich you are is up to you, but if you know how to help others, that creates value" - Professor Truong said.
Professor Phan Van Truong also said that in order to avoid debates between conservatives, it is necessary to change the way of speaking, not to assert but only to give temporary conclusions that are likely to be correct, and to be modest.

It takes argument to make a position.
Professor Phan Van Truong shared: "Your ability to argue creates your position and status. When you do not have the ability to argue, you will not create any resonant value. If you repeat what others have done by heart, that is considered plagiarism.
The age of AI makes memorization even stronger. AI allows repetition of what has been done, with precision and speed.
We will be slaves to AI if we live in the spirit of intuition (the spirit of memorization). Or we will be the masters of AI if we have the attitude of developing deep, broad and useful thinking for the community. Who I am is not important. The ability to build new values is important."
In this meeting, he defined the comfort zone as always having to go out, explore , fight, research, to create value. And we should create value with reason, freedom and respect of an intellectual.
He also said that in the Foundation Ecosystem, he often brings up new topics for participants to work in groups, increasing their thinking and critical thinking skills to help them become more courageous.
