Colonel Nguyen Phuc Cuong, Deputy Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Police, said that the two units have coordinated to focus on personnel review and ensure security for the organization of Party congresses at all levels; effectively implemented the peak period of preventing and combating illegal immigration and the 50-day peak period of issuing electronic identification for foreigners.

Officers from the Song Doc Border Guard Station exchanged information on the maritime border security situation in the area during a briefing meeting involving the three forces: police, military , and border guards.

Through coordinated efforts in managing the area, functional forces have monitored and managed over 40,700 foreign nationals visiting the locality; issued more than 1,000 permits to over 2,000 foreign nationals entering the maritime border area. At the same time, they detected and handled 33 cases of foreign nationals violating regulations, with a total fine of over 440 million VND.

In addition, the two forces intensified their efforts in mass mobilization, enlisting the support of religious leaders, officials, and influential figures among ethnic and religious communities to guide religious organizations to operate in accordance with the law; and proactively monitored the internal situation of Khmer temples in the area. Coordination in advising on and resolving disputes and complaints was implemented decisively, contributing to the stability of the local situation. To date, they have successfully resolved 15 disputes and complaints; persuaded two citizens who had filed complaints to higher levels (in Hanoi ) to return to their locality; and ensured security and order during the regular citizen reception sessions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

In the fight against crime, the Provincial Police closely coordinated with military and border guard forces to launch many intensive campaigns to attack and suppress crime, especially in coastal and maritime border areas. Through these efforts, they jointly detected, investigated, and handled over 150 cases involving more than 160 criminal offenders; dealt with over 280 cases of social vices involving more than 1,300 individuals; detected 65 drug-related crimes involving 90 individuals; and handled over 100 cases of economic and environmental violations involving 112 individuals.
