PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Corporation - Phu My Fertilizer (DPM) has just announced that on February 17, it will close the list of shareholders to pay the first cash dividend of 2022 at a rate of 40%. Equivalent to the owner of 1 share will receive 4,000 VND. With more than 391 million shares in circulation, Phu My Fertilizer will have to spend more than 1,564 billion VND to pay dividends to existing shareholders. The expected dividend payment date is from March 22.

Previously, the extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held at the end of December 2022 of DPM approved the adjustment of the 2022 dividend plan from 50 - 70% in cash. Thus, after the above advance payment, shareholders will receive an additional dividend of 30%. This is the result after a positive business year and the company recorded a profit after tax of up to VND 5,606 billion, an increase of 76.8% compared to 2021 and the highest profit the company has ever achieved.

Another company that also announced a high cash dividend advance of 45% is Idico Petroleum Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (ICN). The company will close the list of shareholders to receive the 3rd cash dividend advance of 2022 at a rate of 45% (1 share receives 4,500 VND). Currently, the company has nearly 12 million shares in circulation, so it will spend about 54 billion VND on this advance dividend.

In early November 2022, the company also adjusted the 2022 dividend rate from 45% to 250%. By mid-January 2022, ICN had provisionally paid a cash dividend at a rate of 60% (each share received 6,000 VND) and before that, at the end of October, the company paid a dividend of 45%, equivalent to each share receiving 4,500 VND. In total, through 3 provisional dividend payments, ICN paid 15,000 VND per share with a total amount of 180 billion VND. Thus, compared to the plan to pay dividends up to 250%, the remaining amount that shareholders will receive in shares.

Meanwhile, many businesses have also announced to pay 2022 dividends in cash of 10-15%. For example, Danang Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (DAD) will close the shareholder list on February 24 to receive 2022 cash dividends at a rate of 15% (1 share receives 1,500 VND). The payment date is March 22. It is estimated that the company will spend nearly 7 billion VND this time.

Vidipha Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (VDP) also announced that March 15 is the last registration date to close the list of interim cash dividends for the second period of 2022 at a rate of 15% (each share receives 1,500 VND). Accordingly, the company will pay more than 25.2 billion VND to shareholders.

Quang Ngai Agricultural Products and Foodstuff Joint Stock Company (APF) will close the shareholder list on February 24 to pay the first cash dividend in 2022 at a rate of 15%/share, equivalent to a total amount of nearly 34 billion VND...
