Ha Giang welcomes more than 848,000 tourists in the first quarter of 2025

BHG - In the first quarter of 2025, Ha Giang province welcomed more than 848,000 tourists, including nearly 108,000 foreign visitors and over 740,000 domestic visitors; total tourism revenue reached nearly 2,300 billion VND.

To attract tourists, in recent times, the province has synchronously implemented many solutions, focusing on propaganda, promotion, advertising, and tourism development linkage; successfully organized a program to welcome the first visitors to Ha Giang in 2025; directed tourist attractions, tourism businesses and tourism services in the area to proactively plan activities to serve tourists; reviewed and corrected tourist areas and destinations that organize tourism activities at risk of unsafety; regularly inspected the activities of tour guides; and performed well the work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.

With synchronous and effective solutions, our province's tourism continues to affirm its position as an attractive destination on the Vietnam tourism map. In the coming time, the province will focus on improving service quality, expanding new tourism products and promoting promotion activities to attract more domestic and international tourists. By the end of 2025, Ha Giang expects to welcome 3.5 million visitors, making an important contribution to the local socio-economic development.
