Ha Giang: Ready for the contest to learn about the law on ethnic affairs

The first contest to learn about the law on ethnic affairs in Ha Giang province in 2024 will take place on September 26 and 27.

The first contest to learn about the law on ethnic affairs in Ha Giang province in 2024 was organized to specify the tasks identified in Plan No. 87/KH-UBND dated March 7, 2024 of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province on implementing the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Ha Giang province in 2024.

At the same time, it contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of the political system at all levels and cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people of all ethnic groups in the province in the field of ethnic work; promoting the study of the law in the form of dramatization, in accordance with the customs, practices, and traditional culture of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The contest also contributes to promoting learning exchanges, enhancing understanding and solidarity among people, sharing good experiences, effective and suitable operating models of districts and cities in the province. This is also a practical activity to welcome the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Ha Giang Province in 2024.

Participating in the first Ha Giang Province Ethnic Affairs Law Competition in 2024 are 11 teams from 11 districts and cities, with a total of 220 members. The competition is organized in the form of dramatization, including 4 parts: Greeting, multiple choice test, skit and situation handling.

The content of the contests is related to the implementation of laws on ethnic affairs; the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; security and order issues in ethnic minority areas... Currently, all preparations for the contest have been completed.

Through the contest, a team will be selected and established to participate in the Northeast regional contest organized by the Ethnic Committee.
