BHG - Starting from July 1, 2025, Ha Giang Newspaper will officially merge with Tuyen Quang Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television Station to form a new organizational model. This is not only an important event in the process of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus in accordance with the spirit of the Central Resolution, but also opens a new development period for the province's revolutionary press, where the voices of the Party Committee, government and people will increasingly resonate and become stronger.
After 61 years of accompanying the revolutionary cause of the province, Ha Giang Newspaper has left a deep impression in the hearts of readers as the official mouthpiece of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Ha Giang province. From the early days full of hardships at the headland of the Fatherland, until today, when Ha Giang is on a new journey of development, Ha Giang Newspaper has always been an important information channel, a trusted companion of the people of all ethnic groups.

After the merger, Tuyen Quang Provincial Newspaper, Radio and Television will have 9 specialized departments: Organization - Administration; News; Electronic Newspaper and Digital Content; Secretary - Editor; Special Topics; Arts - Entertainment; Ethnic Language Radio and Television; Transmission - Broadcasting; Technology and Program Production. With a team of experienced, dedicated and creative staff, reporters, editors and technicians, it is a harmonious combination of the existing strengths of the two previous agencies, creating new strength and new potential. Not only is the apparatus streamlined, the new organizational structure also aims to modernize the method of journalism, closely combining traditional and modern journalism, with a focus on digital transformation. The contents of printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio, television, digital platforms, etc. will be integrated into a converged newsroom, helping to improve connectivity, save resources and serve readers more effectively.
The merger of two press agencies with a long tradition is a major turning point, with high expectations from the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups in the province. Based on the solidarity, intelligence and bravery of the staff, reporters, editors and technicians, Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television are expected to become pioneering press agencies in applying technology, creating attractive, in-depth media products with high ideological value and combativeness.
