Attending the conference were comrades: Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Giang province; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province; functional agencies of Military Region 2; leaders, commanders and functional agencies of the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province and the Military Command of Ha Giang province.

At the conference, the competent authority of Military Region 2 announced the Decision of the Minister of National Defense on merging and reorganizing the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province and the Military Command of Ha Giang province into the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province under Military Region 2.

The Military Command of Tuyen Quang province and the Military Command of Ha Giang province have approved and signed the minutes of handover of the current status of the Military Command of Ha Giang province to the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province.

Major General Tran Van Bac, Commander of Military Region 2 and leaders of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces witnessed the two units signing the handover minutes.

In his concluding remarks, Major General Tran Van Bac agreed with the handover minutes approved at the conference; at the same time, he requested the Party Committee and the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province to continue to perform well the advisory function for the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to lead, direct, and synchronously and effectively implement local defense and military tasks immediately after the merger.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province presented flowers to congratulate the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province.

Major General Tran Van Bac emphasized that the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province needs to focus on directing functional agencies to grasp the political security situation in the area, especially in border areas; promptly advise and propose measures, be ready to handle situations well, and avoid being passive or surprised.

Focus on building a comprehensively strong "Exemplary and exemplary" armed force, constantly improving overall quality and level, combat readiness, meeting requirements and tasks in the new situation; organize forces to well manage barracks and facilities, ensure food and accommodation for officers and soldiers, especially in the Command agencies and Regional Defense Commands.
