Hanoi announces hotline to support primary school admissions

TPO - The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has announced 30 phone numbers to support preschool, grade 1, and grade 6 enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year so that parents can contact and exchange necessary information during the new school year enrollment season.

From July 1, public kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in Hanoi will begin enrolling preschool children, first and sixth graders for the 2025-2026 school year.

Schools continue to enroll students online and in person.

The specific online enrollment time is as follows:

- Enrollment for grade 1 from July 1 to July 3.

- Enrolling 5-year-old children in kindergarten from July 4 to July 6.

- Enrollment for grade 6 from July 7 to July 9.

Parents log in to the Primary School Admissions Portal at https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn to register for admission online.

From July 1, public kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in Hanoi will organize admissions for the first grade.

After the online registration period ends, parents can register directly at schools from July 12 to July 18.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the period of enrollment for the first level is also the time when the new government apparatus is put into operation. In order to ensure convenience and avoid disruption for students and parents, the Hanoi City Examination and Admission Steering Committee for the 2025-2026 school year has decided to maintain stable enrollment time, enrollment methods, and enrollment routes.

To help parents discuss concerns and difficulties in the enrollment process, Hanoi has also announced 30 phone numbers to support enrollment in preschool, grade 1, and grade 6 for the 2025-2026 school year. Parents can contact the phone number of the district, town, or city where their family resides to get answers and support on issues related to enrollment registration for preschool, grade 1, and grade 6.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, in 2025, the city will recruit about 95,000 new children to nursery schools; about 52,000 new children to kindergartens; about 155,000 students to grade 1; and about 161,000 students to grade 6.

To ensure convenience and avoid disruption for students and parents, Hanoi maintains the same time for primary school admissions and publishes a support phone number.
