Specifically, the benchmark scores for entering grade 10 at public high schools in Hanoi in 2025 will be adjusted down as follows:
(*) Minh Quang High School is recruiting additional students throughout the city for students who are eligible for admission but are not admitted to their registered wishes and have an admission score of 12 points or higher (remaining quota: 63 students).
(*) Phuc Loi High School is recruiting additional students throughout the city for students who are eligible for admission but are not admitted to their registered wishes and have an admission score of 16.5 points or higher (remaining quota: 103 students).
When the benchmark is lowered, schools are allowed to accept students with first, second, and third wishes who meet the additional admission requirements.
Students who are admitted to the second additional choice must have an admission score at least 1 point higher than the school's additional admission standard score; students who are admitted to the third additional choice must have an admission score at least 2 points higher than the school's additional admission standard score.
Admission for students admitted based on additional benchmark scores will be conducted directly at high schools from 8:00 a.m. on July 19 to 5:00 p.m. on July 22 (during office hours).
At the same time, the Department of Education and Training also announced the enrollment of grade 10 at Phuc Thinh High School and Do Muoi High School for the 2025-2026 school year as follows:
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training noted that students must meet the admission requirements according to regulations but fail to pass the registered wishes before being able to register for admission to one of the four schools: Minh Quang High School, Phuc Loi High School, Phuc Thinh High School, Do Muoi High School. The system allows students to change their registered wishes before 24 hours on July 22.
For these 4 schools, students can register for admission/additional admission (online) to a school if they meet the admission requirements according to regulations through the city's primary admission portal (tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn) from 8:00 a.m. on July 19 to 12:00 p.m. on July 22.
During the admission/additional admission registration period, students can change their admission registration wishes before 24:00 on July 22.
From 8:00 a.m. on July 23, the school's Admissions Council will meet to review the list of students applying for admission/additional admission according to the admission scores from high to low until the assigned quota is met. In case students have the same admission score for the last quota, the school will report to the Department of Education and Training for consideration and approval.
Before 10:00 a.m. on July 23, the school submitted the list of successful candidates to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
Before 10:00 a.m. on July 24, the list of admitted/additional admitted students will be publicly announced at the school and on the Department of Education and Training's electronic information portal (https://hanoi.edu.vn).
Admitted/additionally admitted students submit their admission application to the school from 8:00 a.m. on July 28 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30 (during office hours).
