The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang requires heads of units and schools to seriously implement the work of preventing and fighting natural disasters and floods. In particular, focusing on the following contents: Urgently checking, bracing, pruning trees, safely preserving assets, equipment, teaching equipment, library books; paying special attention to checking degraded works, unfinished constructions and electrical systems. In flooded, low-lying areas, where there are unsafe works, schools must have warning signs and plans to move assets and documents to safe locations, especially for preschool children, primary and secondary school students.

The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang has delegated flexible decision-making authority to the grassroots level. The Chairmen of the People's Committees of wards and communes and the heads of schools under the Department (especially in mountainous areas at risk of landslides and low-lying areas) are allowed to decide, based on the actual situation, to let preschool children, pupils and students take time off from school if necessary, and at the same time inform the Department's leaders. Universities and private vocational training institutions are autonomous in deciding on students' attendance. Schools proactively plan to organize online teaching when students cannot go to school in areas affected by landslides and floods during days of complicated storms.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang requested units in the sector to assign departments to be on duty 24/24 hours to be ready to respond. After the storm, urgently organize cleaning of schools. Units must synthesize and report on response work, overcoming consequences and damage situation (if any) to the Department before 8:00 a.m. on October 22, 2025.

The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang also requested units to regularly update information on the storm's developments to promptly notify students, parents and teachers to proactively respond in the safest way.
