On January 16, Hanoi Employment Service Center coordinated with the Department of Organization and Personnel, Hanoi City Police Department to organize a "Specialized job transaction session for Hanoi City Police conscripts in 2025".
The program aims to support young people, non-commissioned officers, and conscripts of Hanoi City Police who have returned to their localities, and soldiers who are about to complete their service to access the labor market, find suitable jobs, stabilize their lives, and reduce the unemployment rate.
At the same time, encourage young people to feel secure about their future before performing their duty to join the People's Public Security, contributing to ensuring that the rear work is increasingly practical and effective.
Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, assessed that the issue of labor, job creation in general and the work of counseling, vocational guidance, job creation for demobilized non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security (CAND) and demobilized soldiers in particular have always been of interest to the Party, the State and Hanoi City.
Participating in the job exchange, there are 48 units, enterprises, and vocational training establishments mainly operating in the fields of trade - services, production, security services, labor export... with a total demand for recruitment, enrollment, and labor export of 3,016 recruitment and enrollment targets.
This is a good opportunity for the demobilized soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces who are about to complete their military service to enter the labor market, find stable jobs, and contribute to the economic development of their families and society.
Colonel Duong Duc Hai, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, shared that this is a practical activity to implement Project No. 18 dated July 10, 2023 of the Ministry of Public Security , Plan No. 330 dated September 26, 2023 of Hanoi City Police on "Vocational training and job support for demobilized non-commissioned officers and conscripts of the People's Public Security from 2023 to 2030".
In fact, from 2021 to present, on average each year the City Police Department selects more than 700 citizens to perform their duty to join the People's Police.
Among them, the vast majority of soldiers have the will to strive and complete well the assigned tasks with the aim of contributing and serving long-term in the People's Public Security force; however, due to the staffing needs according to the Government's regulations, the Ministry of Public Security assigned the target that the City Public Security could only maintain a certain percentage (an average of about 15%) of soldiers who completed their service and were transferred to the professional regime.
Colonel Duong Duc Hai also assessed that after completing their duty, soldiers are a "golden" source of human resources, with a sense of discipline, age, health, and a quality workforce that units and businesses inside and outside the People's Public Security need.
Supporting vocational training and job creation for conscripts is an issue that the City Police always pays special attention to, in order to help conscripts return to their hometowns after completing their service to have jobs and a stable life.
