Hanoi established a Coordinating Council for Dissemination and Education of Law

On October 7, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh signed Decision No. 5031/QD-UBND to establish the Hanoi City Council for Coordinating the Dissemination and Education of Law.

According to the decision, 1 Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee in charge of monitoring and directing the judicial sector, dissemination and education of law is the Chairman of the Council; Director of the Hanoi Department of Justice Ngo Anh Tuan is the Standing Vice Chairman of the Council; Vice Chairmen of the Council include: Deputy Director of the Department of Justice in charge of dissemination and education of law; Deputy Chief of Office of the City People's Committee; invite Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city. In addition, the Council also has members who are representatives of leaders of relevant agencies, units, departments and branches.

The Council is responsible for developing and implementing solutions to strengthen the leadership of the City Party Committee in the city in the work of disseminating and educating the law, providing legal aid, and providing legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises, business households, and individual businesses. Proposing the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to issue documents on mechanisms, policies, and solutions to improve the effectiveness of disseminating and educating the law, providing legal aid, and providing legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises, business households, and individual businesses.

The Council is assigned to develop, promulgate, urge, inspect and reward the implementation of programs, projects and plans of the People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee on disseminating and educating the law, providing legal aid and legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises, business households and individual businesses; implementing digital transformation in the work of disseminating and educating the law, providing legal aid and legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises, business households and individual businesses.
