Hanoi inspects responsibility in implementing anti-corruption

Kinhtedothi - Hanoi People's Committee has issued a plan to implement anti-corruption and anti-negativity work in 2025.

The plan aims to synchronously and effectively deploy measures to prevent and combat corruption and negativity; effectively carry out tasks and solutions to prevent and combat corruption and negativity in accordance with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. At the same time, strengthen inspection, examination, supervision, detection, prevention and timely and strict handling of acts, incidents and corruption cases, and recovery of corrupt assets according to regulations; promptly prevent, handle and repel corruption, contributing to maintaining political and social stability, improving the effectiveness of State management, and promoting socio-economic development in the city.

Accordingly, the agencies and units under the City People's Committee, based on their assigned functions and tasks, the actual situation at the agency, unit, and locality, develop and develop plans to implement each specific task (developing and perfecting legal policies on corruption prevention and control; inspecting, reviewing, and systematizing legal documents on corruption prevention and control; disseminating, popularizing, andeducating laws on corruption prevention and control; transferring work positions; inspecting the implementation of publicity and transparency; inspecting the implementation of norms, standards, regimes, and internal spending regulations; inspecting and reviewing conflicts of interest, etc.). Regularly monitor, urge, and inspect the implementation; strengthen inspection and examination of compliance with legal provisions on corruption prevention and control, and at the same time implement the information and reporting regime on corruption prevention and control and negativity prevention and control work according to regulations.

The City Inspectorate presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies to: Inspect the responsibility of directors, heads of agencies and units in implementing legal regulations on corruption prevention and control; inspect the responsibility for implementing legal regulations on corruption prevention and control at 6 units: Urban Lighting and Equipment Company Limited; Hanoi Capital University; Hanoi Tourism Corporation; Hoan Kiem District People's Committee; Thanh Oai District People's Committee; Dan Phuong District People's Committee.

In addition, closely coordinate with the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, City Police, City People's Procuracy, City People's Court to promptly and strictly handle cases and acts of corruption and negativity discovered through inspection work, handling complaints and denunciations, ensuring compliance with regulations.

The Department of Finance inspects and checks the implementation of regulations and standards to promptly detect and report to the City People's Committee to handle violations.

The Department of Home Affairs strengthens inspection and examination of public service in the implementation of discipline, administrative discipline, code of conduct, and professional ethics of units, cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

The City Police and the City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, according to their assigned functions, tasks and powers, direct the acceleration of the prosecution, investigation and execution of judgments on cases and people with corrupt and negative behaviors, promote the recovery of corrupt money and assets through investigation, prosecution, trial and judgment enforcement; periodically or suddenly report on the situation of detection, prosecution, investigation and execution of civil judgments on corruption and negative cases and cases...
