Ha Tinh commits to facilitating businesses in carrying out investment procedures.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai affirmed that Ha Tinh is committed to creating the best conditions for businesses to carry out investment procedures in accordance with legal regulations and accompany businesses in implementing projects in the locality.

On the afternoon of September 22, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Nguyen Hong Linh, Tran Bao Ha chaired a working session with investors who signed a memorandum of understanding at the Conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050 and promote investment in Ha Tinh.

At the Conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 and promote investment in Ha Tinh held at the end of May 2023, Ha Tinh and businesses signed a memorandum of understanding for 36 projects.

Deputy Director of Department of Planning and Investment Phan Thanh Bien reported on the implementation of projects.

To date, two projects have been approved for investment: the Bac Thach Ha Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project of the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park and Urban Development Joint Stock Company (VSIP); and the Ngo Quyen Street Office Complex and Commercial Center Project of the Military Petrochemical Joint Stock Company.

6 projects are eligible to submit investment policy approval documents. 18 projects are adjusting related planning and plans. 3 projects are being researched and surveyed by investors. 4 projects are slow to be implemented because investors have not actively coordinated with state management agencies. In addition, there are 3 projects that investors have requested to stop implementing due to various reasons.

Mr. Le Van Hong - Director of Military Petrochemical Joint Stock Company , Nghe An and Ha Tinh branches: Hopes that the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and localities will support the site clearance work so that the unit can soon implement the Project of Office Complex and Commercial Center on Ngo Quyen Street.

At the meeting, investors reported on the project implementation status and made a number of proposals to the Provincial People's Committee, departments, and branches such as: supporting and closely coordinating with investors in the process of researching, surveying, and investing in projects; providing full information and necessary related documents; guiding and supporting in the process of implementing project investment procedures.

Mr. Truong Thai Thi - Deputy Head of FPT Education Organization Department: Proposing the Provincial People's Committee to approve local adjustments to the construction zoning plan of Thach Hung commune, Ha Tinh city.

Investors also proposed that the province unify the contents and procedures for establishing and approving the Nghi Xuan New Urban Master Plan; speed up the approval of local adjustments to the master plan of Ha Tinh city and surrounding areas until 2030, with a vision to 2050; further speed up the establishment and approval of the zoning plan for the expanded Gia Lach Industrial Park, scale 1/2000...

Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment Le Ngoc Huan explained the contents of the field of natural resources and environment.

Leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities also answered questions and proposals from investors regarding the following contents: zoning planning, detailed planning, land fund, site clearance, construction material mines, etc.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha: The Department of Planning and Investment needs to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee on a plan to work with investors on each project to speed up the implementation progress. For projects that are still stuck in procedures, it is necessary to focus on guiding investors to quickly resolve and complete the procedures for approving investment policies. For investors, it is recommended that investors coordinate with the province to focus on implementing the projects well.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai affirmed: Ha Tinh is committed to creating the best conditions for businesses to carry out investment procedures in accordance with legal regulations; creating favorable conditions for investors to research, survey and implement projects locally. The focus is on creating an open investment environment, promoting administrative reform, cutting and simplifying at least 20% of administrative procedures in accordance with the Government's direction.

The province has established working groups to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses in the process of implementing projects in Ha Tinh. In particular, the province has publicized the hotline numbers of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, directors of departments, branches, and localities at district and commune levels to receive information from businesses and people.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to accept recommendations and proposals from enterprises, focus on removing difficulties and obstacles so that projects can ensure sufficient conditions for early submission of investment policy approval documents.

On the part of businesses, it is necessary to comply with investment commitments and speed up the progress of related tasks to soon implement the project.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hopes that businesses will continue to learn more about investment areas in the locality.
