Central Youth Union supports 1.2 billion VND for people in flood-hit areas of Ha Tinh

(Baohatinh.vn) - The money sent by the Central Youth Union and the Central Council of Young Pioneers to the people and children of Ha Tinh is a message of sympathy and strength to overcome difficulties after the storm.

Faced with the heavy damage caused by storm No. 10, on the morning of October 12, a working delegation of the Central Youth Union Secretariat and the Central Council of Young Pioneers led by Comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers visited, presented gifts, and encouraged people and youth in Ha Tinh province. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union welcomed the delegation. The support resources include: dairy products, school supplies, nutritional products, essential household items, and funding to repair and re-roof houses for 15 families of children who suffered heavy damage in the storm. On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to 4 disadvantaged households in Thach Lac commune - a locality that suffered heavy damage in the recent storm.
