"Journey to accompany border students" and the project "Vietnamese youth accompany children in border areas for the period 2025-2030" set out a number of key tasks such as: mobilizing social resources to take care of border students and children; providing learning equipment and digital skills; expanding the network of youth volunteers; supporting digital transformation at the grassroots level; building living and learning models suitable for the conditions of 248 border communes.

At the launching ceremony, the Central Youth Union awarded 30 scholarships, 200 warm coats and many essential gifts to students; announced the roadmap for implementing health care activities, supporting online learning, guiding life skills and digital skills for border students.

At the event, the Central Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Youth Union launched 5 youth volunteer teams for the Winter 2025 - Spring Volunteer 2026 in the fields of environment, health, education , community support and digital transformation. The teams will carry out tasks in particularly difficult border areas.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, many response activities were organized such as: free medical examination and medicine; inauguration of "Computer room for children" with 10 computers; giving 10 bicycles; giving 200 photos of Uncle Ho and 200 national flags; starting construction of An Hoa 5 Bridge; organizing a discussion on "Ethnic minority youth starting a business in the technology era". Provinces and cities such as Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City also responded with a total resource of more than 11 billion VND.

Previously, on November 21, the Central Youth Union organized activities under the national target program in Na Sang commune, including a youth start-up product fair, skills training and honoring 36 outstanding youths in the northern mountainous region.
