Affirming the belief, responsibility and desire to contribute of young people
The event marked an important activity, contributing to consolidating the Party's ideological position in the new context, while honoring outstanding works reflecting the mettle, intelligence and responsibility of the young generation.
Attending the program were Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Head of the Central Youth Union's Steering Committee 35; Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Youth Union Council, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's Steering Committee 35; along with representatives of central departments and branches and a large number of union members and youth.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang emphasized: In the strategy of " peaceful evolution", hostile forces always seek to influence, attract, and transform young people, a large force, full of aspirations, with easy access to technology and often active in cyberspace. These plots directly aim to deny the Party's ideological foundation, disrupt awareness, and undermine the confidence of young people.

Therefore, according to Ms. Trang, orienting and promoting the role of youth in participating in protecting the Party's ideological foundation is a particularly important task, of decisive significance to the fate of the nation. The contest is not only a playground for intellectual politics, but also a forum for union members and young people to demonstrate their political mettle, belief in Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought and the socialist path that our Party and People have chosen.
Although it was the first year of organization, the contest strongly applied digital transformation in the entire process: From receiving entries to preliminary scoring. The final round and voting are held on a digital platform, ensuring scientific and transparent results. Many provinces and cities have nearly 50% of union members participating, demonstrating the strong influence of the contest on youth life.
With nearly 200,000 entries, the content of the works is rich, closely following current issues such as organizational arrangement, strategic breakthrough resolutions of the Party, the strong transformation of the country in the integration period. From a young perspective, many articles bring a new breath, current events, creative, contributing fresh voices to theoretical work.
Young minds, "digital shields" in cyberspace
In the exchange section, author Nguyen Ho Manh - A prize winner in the magazine category, shared his journey of creating a work about the risk of mind manipulation from artificial intelligence. For him, the development of technology is not a threat if young people know how to equip themselves with "digital resistance": critical thinking, the ability to identify false information and a solid foundation of political and historical knowledge. "We cannot be afraid of technology, but must master it. The strongest shield for young people is not avoidance, but courage and intelligence," Manh affirmed. He expressed his concern when witnessing AI being able to create sophisticated fake images, sounds, and articles, directly impacting young people's perceptions. That concern is the motivation for him to research, dissect the challenges of new technology and propose solutions suitable for the current context.
According to author Nguyen Ho Manh, every young person today needs to equip himself with a “digital immune system” strong enough to face and filter the myriad of information on cyberspace. That “digital resistance” is built from critical thinking and a solid knowledge base. Young people must know how to question the reliability, source of dissemination and basis of each information received; at the same time, equip themselves with basic knowledge of political theory and history to be able to analyze and identify right from wrong.

He also emphasized that theory can only be truly absorbed when it is “brought to life” through practical experience. The combination of theoretical learning and practical activities will help young people approach the Party’s ideology in a more natural, vivid and sustainable way. Along with that, the Youth Union needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of political and ideological propaganda, strongly applying digital transformation to get closer to young people and arouse their proactive participation.
Author Nguyen Ho Manh emphasized the importance of "turning theory on paper into living theory", combining theoretical learning and practical experience to make ideological values more vivid and easier to absorb. This is also a proposal that many researchers and political theorists have put forward in the context of rapid digital transformation.
With the story of Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, the B prize in the graphic category opens up a perspective that has a lot of influence. Her work “Green front - red ideology” expresses the point of view: Every young person can become an “information warrior” with small products but has a big influence.
Minh Thuy shared: “A youthful, concise, easy-to-understand infographic is the most suitable bridge for today's youth”. The color blue, a symbol of dynamic, creative youth, blends with the color red, a symbol of ideals and belief in the Party, creating a consistent message: using the technological power of youth to spread correct ideological values.
Faced with the reality that social networks strongly influence the lives of young people, visual and easily shared media products become effective weapons. A short video, a simple graphic, an inspirational story… can all contribute to cleaning up cyberspace, pushing back against false and harmful arguments.
Along with works imbued with technology and media creativity, the work "The Road I Walk Bears the Color of the National Flag" by Captain Le Hai Ha, lecturer at Army Officer School 2 brings a different color: sincere, profound and full of pride. Through the perspective of a young soldier, he reminds today's generation of the responsibility to live beautifully, to live with ideals, to know how to make every step bear the mark of patriotism.
His message is simple but powerful: the journey of contributing to the Fatherland begins with the smallest things, from maintaining self-discipline, to making efforts to study, work and act for the community. Every right choice of today's youth is a contribution to protecting the ideological foundation that the Party has worked so hard to build.
At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 3 A prizes, 6 B prizes, 11 C prizes, 17 consolation prizes and 3 excellent collective prizes. These numbers not only demonstrate the quality of the competition, but also show the interest, responsibility and vanguard spirit of the young generation towards the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
The contest has ended but its echoes continue to spread. This is proof that: when given trust and a creative environment, Vietnamese youth can absolutely become the core force on the front line of the fight to protect the Party and the regime, especially in the context of a complex and challenging cyberspace.
In the context of hostile forces increasing their influence, seeking every way to attract and transform young people to deny the Party's ideological foundation, the need to orient and promote the role of young people in protecting the ideological foundation is becoming more urgent. This is a task that is not only of current significance but also directly related to the sustainability of the Fatherland in the present and future.
