
Currently, National Highway 1, 27C, 20 and many routes through Dak Lak , Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong are deeply flooded and have landslides, causing traffic disruption and traffic jams stretching for dozens of kilometers.
Since early morning, the area north of Ca Pass through Dak Lak (formerly Phu Yen ) has been heavily flooded, National Highway 1 is damaged so the traffic police had to temporarily close the road to ensure safety. National Highway 27C connecting Nha Trang - Da Lat was also blocked due to landslides in many locations in Khanh Hoa.
After the major incident at Khanh Le Pass, Route 27C has been closed since November 17. Authorities are directing traffic in two directions: from Khanh Hoa to National Highway 1 - National Highway 27 - Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway to Da Lat; or National Highway 1 - National Highway 26 - National Highway 27. However, both routes have many sections that are deeply flooded and damaged, forcing traffic restrictions, leading to congestion at many points.
In Khanh Hoa, traffic police are regulating traffic at four expressway intersections from Phan Thiet to Nha Trang. Khanh Hoa traffic police advise drivers to proactively update information to choose appropriate routes, avoiding congestion at one point.
According to the Vietnam Road Administration, as of 10am this morning, there were still 17 traffic jams and deep flooding on the national highways in the Central region, most concentrated in Khanh Hoa. Authorities are on duty 24/7, continuing to regulate traffic and handle incidents.
