At noon on January 3, Mr. Bui Ngoc Du, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Linh Commune (Huong Khe District, Ha Tinh Province) said that a passenger bus with a Lao license plate traveling through this commune suddenly lost control and crashed into the roadside.
According to initial information, the above traffic accident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on January 3. The identity of the driver has not yet been determined.
At the above time, the passenger bus with Lao license plate UN - 27.xx, carrying about 30 people, was traveling from Nghe An province through Ha Tinh province to Cha Lo International Border Gate ( Quang Binh province), to Laos.
While traveling on National Highway 15 (through village 10, Ha Linh commune, Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province), due to an unexpected situation and a curve in the road, the driver was unable to handle the situation in time, lost control, the car veered off the roadside, broke a section of the guardrail, and then crashed head-on.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, only some minor injuries. The accident caused minor damage to the front of the bus.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident and clear traffic congestion.
After the accident, traffic rescue vehicles were also mobilized to the scene. At about 11:00 a.m. the same day, the crashed passenger bus was lifted from the scene.
