Ha Tran: "Tung Duong misunderstood what I said, I texted him but he hasn't replied yet"

On the afternoon of June 11, singer Ha Tran organized a live concert introducing the Tinh Khoi Galaxy - a concert celebrating 30 years of singing. At the event, the female artist also responded for the first time to the "No shame" comment that caused a stir recently, related to singer Tung Duong.

Ha Tran said: "I did not comment on Tung Duong, but in my comment, I was talking about Tran Thanh. The word "No shame" I wrote means "not embarrassed, not ashamed". If we were not close, I would not joke like that.

If there is any criticism, in English people will say "shame on you" or "shameless". I think Tung Duong misunderstood, took the saying too far. A part of the audience also pushed the story in a negative direction.

The singer said she is someone who devotes her life to family and music , is not familiar with social media and is always afraid of conflicts and scandals. When the incident became noisy, she contacted Tung Duong to explain.

"I only knew about the incident when my relatives sent me the articles to read. After that, I called and texted Tung Duong but Duong did not respond. I thought he was busy with personal matters so we did not talk to each other. Maybe when he has free time, Duong will reply to me.

If the incident causes a stir and unintentionally affects Tran Thanh, I am very sorry. Thanh Lam, Tung Duong, and I are also three close friends in the profession. I really respect their talent, we have no problems with each other," Ha Tran said.

Talking more about holding her first solo live concert after 30 years of singing, Ha Tran explained: "I settled in the US, traveling between the US and Vietnam to do big music shows takes a lot of time and effort. After the Masked Singer, I was also very busy, I didn't have time for myself.

30 years of singing, I consider myself a student. I never thought I would have to write a report on my 30 years of studying. But when I met a good team, and listened to what you guys said, I realized the kindness of my colleagues. During those 30 years, I owed so many people, so many audiences.

I decided to do the show to repay the kindness and love of my friends and audience over the past 30 years. Everything happened at the right time."

Ha Tran said that when she first started singing, she liked to express her ego and personality in her music. Currently, she wants to balance entertainment and artistry, to open her heart to welcome a wider audience.

"There are only two things that exist in me: Family and music. I spend all my time on these two things. I am very ignorant and not quick about other aspects of society. Now I want to open my heart to welcome audiences of different generations and musical styles to live concerts - where there are all the slices of Ha Tran's music", the singer said.

Present at the press conference, musician Tran Tien expressed his pride when his niece organized a live concert to celebrate 30 years of her career. Responding to her close uncle, Ha Tran said that artist Tran Tien is her spiritual support and motivation for her to strive in art.

"I lost my mother at an early age, so Uncle Tien is like a relative to me. I often call him Dad Tien. When I was little, I listened to him sing and told myself that one day I would become a singer to sing his music. My family is my most demanding audience. Thanks to that, my singing career has never stopped," Ha Tran confided.

The live concert Tinh Khoi Galaxy includes 2 shows in Ho Chi Minh City on August 10 and in Hanoi on August 24. Musician Hoai Sa - Ha Tran's close brother - takes on the role of music director for the program.

The music night has many famous guests such as: Tran Hieu, Tran Tien, Thanh Lam, Toc Tien, Trung Quan, Phan Manh Quynh, Lan Nha, Orange...

On June 4, Tung Duong posted a video of himself covering the song Sau loi tu xu by musician Phan Manh Quynh. In the comment section, Ha Tran attracted attention when she commented with the words "No shame" and mentioned Tran Thanh's personal account.

In response to Ha Tran's confusing and controversial comment, Tung Duong confirmed that he had asked for the author's opinion and paid full copyright when covering Sau loi chu xu.
