BHG - On the morning of February 19, at the Xin Man - Misaki Agricultural Cooperative processing workshop (Nan Ma commune), Xin Man district coordinated with Vietnam Misaki Co., Ltd. to organize a ceremony to export 36 tons of pickled radish to the Japanese market. In 2021, with many efforts of local authorities, Xin Man district and Vietnam Misaki Company Limited signed a cooperation program to link agricultural value chains. After 3 years of investment and support for the development of radish for export to the Japanese market in Xin Man, it has been shown that radish is suitable for the natural conditions, land and soil of Xin Man. Radish grows and develops well (can be grown in the off-season). Thanks to that, the linked area increases every year, in 2021, 7 hectares were planted; in 2022, 13 hectares; in 2023, 20 hectares. Radish has a high yield of 40 - 60 tons/ha; the average value is 80 - 120 million VND/ha, the profit is 4 times higher than growing corn. Up to now, in Xin Man district, a stable raw material area has been formed in Xin Man and Nan Ma communes, maintaining 30-40 hectares annually; a processing factory has been established in Nan Ma commune and over 2 thousand tons of pickled radish have been exported to the Japanese market.

Each crate of pickled radish is carefully packed and shipped to the container.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Xin Man district hoped that Vietnam Misaki Co., Ltd. would continue to implement the plan to expand the raw material area in 2024. In particular, they would pay attention to implementing the cooperation program between Xin Man district People's Committee and Vietnam Misaki Co., Ltd., period 2021 - 2025.

Two containers of 36 tons of pickled radishes, which have been pre-processed to ensure technical standards at Xin Man - Misaki Agricultural Cooperative, will be handed over to Vietnam Misaki Co., Ltd. to carry out the procedures and processes for exporting to the Japanese market through official channels. This is a joy and a positive signal for the Xin Man agricultural sector in the early Spring of Giap Thin 2024, thereby contributing to increasing the income of ethnic minorities in the district, concretizing the policies and resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels.
