Taking place from May 16 to 19 in Nghe An, the performance is part of the Sen Village Festival, an activity to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
The Hai Duong province mass art troupe participating in the festival has 27 members, bringing to the festival 5 solo performances, male choir, dance, flute playing and choir dancing.
The performances are elaborately staged, harmoniously combining music , form and folk materials, contributing to introducing the image of the people and land of Hai Duong to the public.
The performance “Thênh thang đường mới” by the male-female choir and dance group won the gold medal; the dance performance “Mùa lychee riêng” and the male choir “Muôn đời lời Bác con vang” won the silver medal.
The annual festival gathered more than 1,000 mass artists from 31 provinces and cities across the country. The troupes brought to the festival 158 performances with the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country, each performance was a heartfelt expression of love for the Fatherland, pride and spirit of returning to the roots.
