Hai Duong admits more than 5,000 union members

Gia Huy Toy Manufacturing Company Limited in Vinh Cuong Commune (Thanh Ha) launched the Trade Union Executive Committee.

According to information from the Provincial Federation of Labor, as of May 15, the whole province had 304,555 union members and 1,943 grassroots unions, an increase of 5,041 union members and 30 grassroots unions compared to the end of 2024.

Since the beginning of the year, trade unions at all levels in the province have recruited 5,041 new members. Of these, 3,397 were recruited from existing grassroots trade unions; the rest were members of newly established grassroots trade unions.

The superior trade union directly at the grassroots level guided the establishment of 30 grassroots trade unions. The Industrial Zone Trade Union and the Labor Federation of Thanh Ha, Gia Loc and Tu Ky districts are typical units in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.

In recent times, trade unions at all levels have always identified the development of union members and grassroots unions as a key task in building a strong trade union organization. Units have actively promoted the role and responsibility of trade unions in protecting workers’ rights and the benefits of workers participating in trade unions.
