150 meritorious people and poor families in That Hung ward (Kinh Mon) received gifts and free medical examinations.

The Organizing Committee awarded 150 gifts, total value of 70 million VND to meritorious people, policy families, former youth volunteers, and people in difficult circumstances in That Hung ward.

On the morning of May 17, in That Hung ward (Kinh Mon), the Provincial Youth Union, the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association jointly organized the program "Young Doctors' Day following Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for community health" in 2025.

Doctors at Kinh Mon Town Medical Center measure blood pressure for meritorious people

At the program, 150 meritorious people, policy families, former youth volunteers, and families in difficult circumstances received general examinations, blood pressure measurements, electrocardiograms, ultrasounds, and health consultations from doctors at Kinh Mon Town Medical Center. The organizing committee presented 150 gifts, worth a total of 70 million VND, to representatives of the families.

Young volunteers always follow and support the elderly participating in the program.

The program is part of a series of activities "Journey of young doctors following Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for community health" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, towards the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), demonstrating the pioneering spirit and responsibility of Hai Duong youth in caring for and protecting people's health, contributing to implementing Uncle Ho's teaching: A good doctor is like a mother.
