Two holidays in April 2025

(KGO) - Hung King's death anniversary, April 30 and May 1 have holidays that fall on normal working days, so civil servants, public employees and workers have consecutive days off, swapping them for a 3-5 day holiday.

The Labor Code stipulates that the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day (the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month) is one day off. This year's holiday falls on Monday, April 7, so civil servants, public employees, and workers have three days off from April 5 to 7, from Saturday to Monday.

April 30 and May 1 holidays are from April 30 to May 4. Civil servants, public employees, and workers will have their working days changed from Friday, May 2 to Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Thus, on the occasion of April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, civil servants and public employees will have 5 consecutive days off from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4, 2025 (compensated on Saturday, April 26, 2025).

Units that take days off according to this schedule must arrange a department on duty to handle unexpected matters. Agencies and businesses that do not have fixed two days off on the weekend must base their plans on arranging suitable days off for their employees.
