Hai Phong fires fireworks in both the east and west to celebrate National Day

On the evening of September 2, Hai Phong city will become the center of attention with two special art programs and a brilliant fireworks display.

Immediately after the two art programs, fireworks displays will take place at two locations: City Theater Square and Eastern Cultural Center Square.

The art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day at the City Theater Square “Echoes forever” is scheduled to take place from 8pm on September 2nd with 12 elaborately staged song-dance-music performances. Immortal revolutionary songs and heroic dances will recreate the boiling atmosphere of the historic autumn of 1945, while conveying the message: the spirit of independence and self-reliance is still the flame that lights up the path of development today.

At the same time, at the Eastern Cultural Center Square, the program “Radiant Vietnam” brought two parts: “Hung linh su Viet Nam” and “Ky ky giu”. The performances of cheo singing, dancing, and music mash-up were a harmony between tradition and modernity, reflecting the bravery and aspirations of the nation. From the thousand-year-old spirit of fighting against foreign invaders, to the belief in a renewed, integrated, and shining Vietnam, the program affirmed the strong vitality of Vietnamese culture in the flow of time.

The highlight of both venues is the brilliant fireworks display right after the art performances end. In the melody of songs dedicated to the Fatherland, each cluster of fireworks will light up the sky of Hai Phong , bringing the people and tourists a sacred and proud moment. It is a congratulation in light sent to the country on the great festival, a symbol of the vitality and strong rise of the Port City.

The art and fireworks event on the evening of September 2nd was not only a spiritual gift for the people, but also affirmed Hai Phong as a city of culture and aspiration. In the brilliant light of fireworks, Hai Phong once again joined the whole country, continuing to write a new epic on the path to building a strong and prosperous Fatherland.
