Hai Phong: More than 300 people attend training course on legal regulations on e-commerce

Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade, Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly organized a training course on legal regulations on e-commerce.

On the morning of November 5, the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Phong, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated to organize a training course, providing in-depth training on legal regulations on e-commerce; combating smuggling, trade fraud, trading in counterfeit goods, goods infringing intellectual property rights in the online environment. The training course attracted more than 300 people from departments, branches, units, localities, business associations, cooperatives, and enterprises in Hai Phong City to participate.

At the training course, representatives of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Ministry of Industry and Trade exchanged and shared knowledge about e-commerce, the current status of e-commerce in Vietnam and Hai Phong City; common violations in the field of e-commerce; some e-commerce trends in the digital age and e-commerce applications, approaching customers in the online environment.

According to Director of Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade - Nguyen Van Thanh, in recent times, besides the opportunities for development, export turnover growth and potential market expansion thanks to e-commerce, Vietnamese enterprises in general and Hai Phong business community in particular are still facing many difficulties and challenges, specifically: Lack of information on policies and legal regulations on e-commerce; insufficient skills and knowledge about marketing in e-commerce; limitations in building business orientation and protecting brands in e-commerce...

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized: This training program will contribute to strongly supporting businesses, cooperatives, organizations and individuals in implementing digital transformation, improving knowledge about e-commerce, improving the quality of human resources; at the same time, helping state management agencies strengthen management work in e-commerce activities in the city.

During the 1-day training course, delegates listened to lecturers from the Center for E-commerce Development (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy) introduce an overview of e-commerce and e-commerce laws in Vietnam; some common violations, inspection, examination and handling of violations in the field of e-commerce; setting up accounts and doing business on famous e-commerce platforms in Vietnam such as Shopee, Tiki, Lazada, social networks Facebook, TikTok... With enthusiasm and a high sense of responsibility, delegates discussed, evaluated and proposed practical contents for the authorities to research, synthesize and propose related to e-commerce activities; combating smuggling, trade fraud, trading in counterfeit goods, and goods infringing intellectual property rights in the online environment.
