Customs dialogue with businesses

Speaking at the opening of the conference, the leader of Binh Phuoc Customs Department affirmed that the unit always strives to reform administrative procedures to better serve businesses in customs management activities, improve publicity and transparency; shorten the time for customs clearance of goods, reduce costs and travel time of businesses when carrying out customs procedures. Binh Phuoc Customs always listens to and accompanies businesses, continues to promote calls and dialogues with businesses with import-export activities in the province to promptly grasp their thoughts and aspirations and remove difficulties and obstacles, and promptly convey updated information on mechanisms and policies related to customs activities to the business community; collect opinions of businesses to reflect to competent authorities to perfect related policies and regulations.

Leaders of provincial functional departments and representatives of the business community attended the conference.

At the conference, Binh Phuoc Customs Department implemented a pilot program to support and encourage businesses to comply with customs laws to facilitate trade and reduce costs for businesses; support businesses to limit and overcome obstacles and difficulties in carrying out customs procedures; establish a trustworthy partnership between customs agencies and businesses. Implementing this program, businesses have grasped the regulations on subjects participating in the program, implementation principles; benefits of businesses, conditions for participating in the program... In addition, Binh Phuoc Customs Department also introduced some new points of Circular 33/2023 of the Ministry of Finance regulating the determination of origin of imported and exported goods.

The team to solve difficulties for businesses of Binh Phuoc Customs Department discussed with businesses at the conference.

Enterprises attending the conference also mentioned difficulties in on-site export procedures; requested that customs should give enterprises time to prepare for implementation when there are policy changes; difficulties in paying in foreign currency while invoices are issued in Vietnamese Dong... The questions and difficulties of enterprises were shared, discussed, satisfactorily answered and directly guided to resolve by the leaders of the Provincial Customs Department at the conference.
