Scoot Airlines opens Singapore - Khanh Hoa route

On the morning of November 21, Khanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center coordinated with Cam Ranh International Airport, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company... to organize the opening ceremony of the Singapore - Khanh Hoa route and welcome the first flight from Singapore to Khanh Hoa of Scoot (Singapore Airlines Group).

The Scoot flight landed at Cam Ranh International Airport at 11:00 a.m. with 97 passengers. At the ceremony, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Khanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and representatives of related units cut the ribbon to open the flight route and presented flowers and gifts to passengers.

Mr. Truong Van Tien - Director of Khanh Hoa Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said: "Singapore is a stable international market with high spending capacity and short-term travel trends, very suitable for Khanh Hoa's high-quality tourism development orientation. Singapore is also a major regional air transit hub, conveniently connecting to distant markets such as Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Scoot's opening of this route not only increases the number of direct passengers from Singapore, but also helps Khanh Hoa open its doors to welcome international visitors through the airline's global flight network.

Mr. Ng Chee Keong - CEO of Scoot Airlines shared: "Scoot is delighted to launch the first direct flight between Khanh Hoa and Singapore. This route will bring outstanding convenience to tourists, including Vietnamese people who want to go to Singapore and other international destinations, as well as international tourists who want to visit Khanh Hoa."

According to the plan, Scoot airline will operate the Singapore - Khanh Hoa route with an initial frequency of 2 flights/week and is expected to increase to 5 flights/week from the beginning of 2026.
