A series of electric poles in Thanh Hoa were broken and fell after the storm.

On the afternoon of June 17, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company confirmed that the incident occurred late on the afternoon of June 16 in Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province, causing 19 electric poles to break, fall, or tilt, interrupting the power supply to nearly 500 customers.

Speaking to reporters, a representative of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company said: Immediately after the incident, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company directed relevant departments, offices and units to inspect and fix the problem, ensuring the earliest restoration of power supply to customers.

The storm on the afternoon of June 16 knocked down many electric poles in Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.

During the afternoon and night of June 16, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company and Thieu Hoa Electricity Company quickly implemented remedial measures and restored power to 98% of affected customers. The remaining customers are expected to have power restored today (June 17).
